This piece is named after Karl Storms, a man whose passion and warmth are organic and boundless.  With a seemingly hard exterior, its true nature is soft.  Its manner is simple, but its depth profound.  The outer edge  is finished in a gently undulating resin, modeled after gesso, that is soft and organic to the touch.  The cast resin doors are fashioned after pleated steel.
